Evette Orams - evette@hiltonbaird.co.uk

Evette is the Managing Director of Hilton-Baird Financial Solutions Ltd and has an extensive and comprehensive background in the commercial finance sector. Having worked within a broad range of financial operations, Evette has built teams in operations, risk management and sales. Combining a natural personal rapport with an insightful business understanding, Evette is able to relate to the pressures commonly faced by SME owner-managers to the complex financial challenges faced by major corporate entities. Evette has strengthened the relationships with key funders, factoring companies and finance partners whilst building a highly successful commercial finance team.

Ian brings a wealth of experience to Hilton-Baird’s commercial finance team having previously worked as a client manager at GE Commercial Finance for nine years and for five years at RBS Invoice Finance, gaining valuable knowledge of invoice finance and other business finance solutions in this time. Ian therefore has a full appreciation of the day-to-day operations and challenges of businesses of all sizes and has a wide knowledge of the various corporate and business finance facilities on the market. He has also worked within owner-managed businesses as office manager, giving him an insight into the challenges such businesses face.

Neil Galer - neil.galer@hiltonbaird.co.uk

Prior to his current role as a broker, Neil was a senior funding consultant and is our property funding specialist. He has been with Hilton-Baird for over four years and has three years’ prior experience within manufacturing and distribution. Before that he spent two years at management level in the regulated food sector and is a graduate in Business Studies. He has an excellent understanding of the issues facing growing SMEs searching for ways to improve cash flow, and brings all this experience to his role.

Genevieve is PA to Managing Director, Evette Orams, and provides support to the brokers. She previously worked for a residential mortgage broker, underwriting applications for more than six years and has an extensive knowledge of the regulated lending sector. Genevieve is a graduate of French and Spanish.

Joanna heads up our team of funding consultants and possesses an extensive knowledge of client services and finance for business. Prior to joining Hilton-Baird’s finance team, Joanna worked as a mortgage consultant and ran a team of mortgage case managers for a funder.

Phil’s educational background lies in Business Studies and Accountancy. He spent numerous years dealing with business accounts at British Gas, prior to which he worked within the telecoms sector. As a senior member of the commercial finance team, Phil has a gained a knowledge of what SMEs require when searching for commercial finance solutions and can expertly distinguish which funding solution would be best for each business’ individual needs.
