Golf Day 2025

Ian Talbot (Talbot Accounting Solutions) was crowned the winner of the Hilton-Baird Group & FRP Advisory Golf Day at Remedy Oak Golf Club in Dorset after a sensational round.

In the 13^th year of the tournament – the first since it was hosted jointly between Hilton-Baird and FRP – Ian’s score of 42 points was enough to hold off the challenges of Chris Pacey (ThinCats) and Graham Bird (Hilton-Baird Audit & Survey), who came second and third respectively on 39 points.

It was a close-run contest, with six players within five shots of the winner and 33 of the 62-strong field scoring more than 30 points in perfect playing conditions at the stunning venue.

In the team event, Tom Cox (FRP Advisory), Ciaran Flanagan (Shawbrook), Steve Munt (ThinCats) and Chris Collings (TriplePoint Capital) combined to score an impressive 94 points – a three-point winning margin over their nearest rivals.

Meanwhile, Lewis Proudley (SIA Group) and Paul Muscutt (Crowell & Moring) saved their best shots for when it mattered most – Lewis earning the longest drive prize with a booming tee shot down the 401-yard 10^th, and Paul finishing nearest the pin on the 13^th despite a tricky pin position.

It was another fantastic occasion and opportunity to spend some quality time with all of our guests. We truly appreciate our relationships and all the cases you continue to trust us with, and of course for making the effort to join us on this special day.
