Golf Day 2026

A superb score of 92 points was enough to secure the team prize at the Hilton-Baird Group & FRP Advisory’s annual Lenders & Advisers Golf Day in Dorset.

Oli Thompson (Allica Bank), John Morton (Bibby Financial Services), Neil Galloway (Investec) and John Potts (FRP Advisory) all contributed to the team’s total, finishing two points clear of the nearest challengers on a closely-fought day at the stunning Remedy Oak Golf Club.

John Potts enjoyed an afternoon to remember, also claiming the longest drive prize for his effort down the 10^th fairway.

Over on the 13^th, Rob Milner (Neon Numbers) finished closest to pin with one of a number of fine shots on his way to scoring 25 points.

Neither player, however, could quite match the consistency shown by the leaders in the keenly contested individual competition, where only two points separated the top three.

In third, for the second time in three years, was Andrew Bowden-Brown (Shoosmiths), whose 38 points was just one short of Huw Marsden (Sonovate) in second.

But it was Jon Prince (The Perception Coach) whose relentless scoring on the back nine in particular saw him finish on top, winning the individual prize with an impressive score of 40 points.
